ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) has paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces and the nation on the first anniversary of “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos,” describing it as a symbol of unity, resolve and national strength.

In a statement issued by APHC Information Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Butt on Sunday, the operation was termed a historic response to what he described as Indian aggression against civilian areas in Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir during the night of May 6 and 7 last year.

He said the term “Bunyan-un-Marsoos,” derived from a Quranic expression meaning a “fortified wall,” reflected the spirit of collective unity, discipline and steadfastness demonstrated by the Pakistani nation and its armed forces. Quoting a verse from Surah Al-Saff, he said the concept represented unwavering solidarity in defending national sovereignty and dignity.

Mushtaq Ahmed Butt stated that Pakistan’s response under the operation had changed the regional security narrative within hours and proved that determination, strategic planning and national unity were stronger than military arrogance and intimidation.

The APHC leader further said the operation was not only a military success but also a manifestation of national cohesion and collective courage. He maintained that the people of Pakistan stood shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces during a critical moment in the country’s history.

Describing the anniversary as a reminder of sacrifice and resilience, he said the slogan “We are all Bunyan-un-Marsoos” had become a national expression of unity and commitment to safeguarding the country’s freedom, sovereignty and honor.
