Atta Tarar condoles with Shoaib Akhtar on his brother's demise

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2026) Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar visited the residence of renowned cricketer Shoaib Akhtar on Saturday to express condolences on the passing of his elder brother, Shahid Akhtar.

The minister met with the family members of the deceased, including Shoaib Akhtar and the deceased's son Hamza Shahid to offer his heartfelt sympathy and condolences.

He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul, the elevation of his ranks in Jannah, and for patience for the bereaved family.

The minister said he shared the grief and pain of the bereaved family.
