Earthquake: PDMA Punjab report released

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2026) The PDMA Punjab’s report on earthquake has been released.

According to PDMA Punjab, tremors were felt in Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Mianwali, Multan, Potohar region and other districts of Punjab.

The intensity of the earthquake was recorded as 5.9 on the Richter scale.

The epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. The depth of the earthquake was recorded as 191 kilometres.

The administrations concerned are busy checking the buildings. The PDMA’s provincial control room, including the district emergency operation centers across Punjab, are active 24/7.
