Barrister Danyal Chaudhry calls Youm-e-Takbeer a golden chapter in Pakistan’s history

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister, Danyal Chaudhry on Thursday said that Youm-e-Takbeer was a golden and historic day in Pakistan’s national history, when the nation, under the bold leadership of PML-N leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, conducted nuclear tests and made the country’s defence invincible.

He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held in Rawalpindi on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer.

The event was attended by former Senator Chaudhry Tanveer Khan, Member Provincial Assembly, Ziaullah Shah, Usama Tanveer, and a large number of Pakistan Muslim League-N workers.

Barrister Danyal Chaudhry said that the echoes of “Allah u Akbar” on May 28, 1998, in the Chagai mountains shattered the hostile intentions of the enemy and turned Pakistan into the first nuclear power of the Muslim world and the seventh in the world, raising the nation’s pride.

He added that Pakistan’s historic achievement during “Marka-e-Haq” sent a clear and strong message to adversaries and significantly enhanced the country’s global standing and diplomatic stature.

Barrister Danyal Chaudhry further said that the armed forces of Pakistan have raised the nation’s pride through professionalism, courage, and immense sacrifices.

He said that due to the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the wise, coordinated, and effective strategy of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan has also achieved important diplomatic successes on the international front.
