Blood donation camp held at Ayub Medical College on World Blood Donor Day

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jun, 2026) A special blood donation camp was organized at Ayub Medical College on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, where students participated enthusiastically and voluntarily donated blood to support patients in need.

The camp was held under the supervision of Professor Dr Romana, with active participation and support from the Regional Blood Center team. During the event, students were briefed on the importance of blood donation, its medical benefits, and its positive impact on society.

Speakers on the occasion highlighted that blood donation is a noble act of humanity, stating that a single unit of blood can save the life of a trauma patient, a surgical case, a thalassemia patient, or an emergency victim.
