Chiniot launches tree planting campaign 2026 at Govt Girls High School

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ayesha Rizwan, DPO Dr. Naveed Atif, and CO education Azhar Sohail Niazi inaugurated the Tree Planting Campaign 2026 at Govt Girls High School, Chiniot.

They planted trees, emphasizing the importance of tree planting in combating environmental pollution, reported by APP correspondent.

Rizwan and Atif urged students to participate in the campaign, planting saplings at home and contributing to a greener environment.

The district administration aims to plant 14,000 trees in institutions and thousands more across the district. The officials thanked the school administration for initiating the campaign.

Students assured full cooperation, pledging to make the environment lush and green.The campaign reflects Chiniot's commitment to environmental sustainability.
