CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) On the special instructions of Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan, Additional Deputy Commissioner General and Chief Executive of Suthara Punjab, Wasiq Abbas Haral, conducted a detailed visit to Bhowana on Monday to review sanitation conditions and ongoing civic facilities across the tehsil.

During the inspection, he checked multiple arrangements including cleanliness of markets, drainage desilting, functioning of machinery at the disposal station, maintenance of cemeteries, and beautification works in the city. He also reviewed the operation of the RO filtration plant to ensure provision of clean drinking water, including timely filter replacement and system upkeep.

The official expressed dissatisfaction over poor hygiene conditions in parts of the market and took immediate action by imposing fines on shopkeepers and sealing some outlets. He directed sanitation teams under Suthara Punjab to ensure complete cleanliness across all areas without delay.

Wasiq Abbas Haral further instructed relevant officers, including the Assistant Commissioner Bhowana and municipal officials, to improve conditions at Zero Point, ensure proper functioning of disposal machinery, and maintain regular monitoring of civic services to improve overall urban management and public facilities.
