Commissioner for better public services, stronger administrative oversight in Tank

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan Division Dawood Khan has directed Tank district authorities to ensure efficient public service delivery, improve civic facilities and provide maximum relief to citizens in line with the provincial government's vision.

The directives were issued during a meeting with newly appointed Deputy Commissioner Tank Jamshed Khan here at the Commissioner’s Office. On the occasion, the deputy commissioner presented a commemorative shield to the Commissioner.

Jamshed Khan briefed the Commissioner on the overall law and order situation in Tank district, ongoing development projects, revenue matters, anti-encroachment operations, provision of clean drinking water, public welfare initiatives and the performance of the health sector.

He also informed the Commissioner about arrangements made to maintain cleanliness and sanitation during Eid-ul-Azha and highlighted efforts being undertaken to address electricity-related issues faced by residents of the district.

Commissioner Dawood Khan emphasized that all government departments must ensure the attendance of officers and staff and maintain a high standard of public service. He warned that negligence in serving the public would not be tolerated and stressed the need for more effective administrative measures to resolve civic issues and enhance public facilities across the district.
