Commissioner meets trader delegation, discusses development projects

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) Construction work on five parking plazas around Clock Tower bazaars will start soon as the project has been approved and required funds are available.

The old demand of the citizens as well as traders of the business hub will be resolved with completion of the projects, said the Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen during a meeting with a delegation of the Anjuman-e-Tajran City Allied Group, here on Wednesday.

The commissioner appreciated the role of traders in the construction, development and beautification of the city.

She said that the beautification of Kutchehry Bazaar has almost been completed and in the next phase, the beautification of Jhang Bazaar and Aminpur Bazaar is being started.

She assured the delegation that their concerns related to the para-force and other departments would be resolved.

The Commissioner said that necessary instructions have been issued to officers concerned to repair, maintain and beautify Millat Road, Haryanwala Chowk, Koh-e-Noor city and Sheikhupura Road.

The trader’s delegation was composed of General secretary Mian Tanveer Riaz, Naseer Yousaf Vohra and others.
