Cops being provided sheds, beverages to withstand hot weather

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2026) The policemen of the district and the traffic police deployed for security and traffic regulation on the roads, intersections and important buildings are being provided sheds, water and beverages to protect them from heat strokes.The police spokesman informed here on Sunday that under the directions of the DIG Hyderabad Tariq Razzak Dharejo the department was providing sheds, water and beverages to the cops.

He added that the policemen had also been directed to ensure that hot weather did not affect their conduct with the citizens with whom they were supposed to speak politely.According to him, the DIG had also directed all the DSPs and SHOs in the district to ensure that the cops of their respective police stations remained in good health and were not affected by severe summer heat.He said policemen had also been briefed about measures which were necessary to protect them from the prevailing heat wave.
