CPO reviews security arrangements at cattle market on Samundri Road

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain visited the Niamoana cattle market on Samundri Road and reviewed security arrangements made for traders and citizens ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

According to police spokesman, SP Iqbal Division Saeed Ahmad, SHO Roshanwala Inspector Shahid Pervaiz and other police officers accompanied the CPO during the visit.

During inspection of the cattle market, the CPO directed police officers to ensure strict checking of personnel deployed at cattle markets and said protection of life and property of citizens and traders would be ensured at all costs.

He identified sensitive and hotspot areas within the market and ordered further tightening of security arrangements to make them more effective.

He also directed officials to ensure strict monitoring of entry and exit points and maintain continuous surveillance through CCTV cameras to prevent any untoward incident.
