Dacoit killed in shootout

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) A dacoits wanted in more than 50 cases of robberies was killed in a police encounter on Wednesday night.

According to the police spokesperson here Thursday, the shootout took place in Terkhani police area, during which a dacoit identified as Saqib alias Saqi of Tandlianwala was killed by firing of his co-accused, who later managed to escape.

Police are searching for the escaped dacoits.
