DC inspects sewerage, drainage projects

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi reviewed key components of various ongoing development projects of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) under the Punjab Development Programme.

According to the official source, she inspected the under-construction Stadium Disposal Station (100 cusecs), Madina Syedan Disposal Station (40 cusecs), and the storm water drain along Railway Road.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner directed that all development schemes be completed within stipulated timelines and ensured that the quality of work met approved standards.

She also inspected the ongoing 42-inch diameter sewerage line project in Narowali.

Deputy Managing Director WASA Hassnain Faisal accompanied her and briefed her on the progress of the ongoing projects.
