DC orders to complete development projects within stipulated timeline

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner(DC) Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry on Tuesday directed that all ongoing and upcoming development projects be completed within stipulated timelines,stressing strict adherence to transparency and quality standards.

He issued these instructions while chairing a meeting of the District Development Committee in Sargodha.

During the session,the committee approved three development schemes proposed by the Municipal Corporation aimed at improving urban infrastructure and public facilities.

These include the restoration of Jinnah Hall at Company Bagh,installation of street lights along Lorry Adda road and construction of a mini cricket arena in Guddah Khana.

According to officials,Jinnah Hall will be renovated and upgraded with modern facilities to enhance recreational and cultural opportunities for citizens.

Meanwhile,street lights will be installed along a four-kilometer stretch of Lorry Adda road to improve traffic flow and ensure commuter safety.

The construction of a mini cricket arena in Guddah Khana was expected to promote healthy activities among youth and provide improved recreational options.

DC reiterated that ensuring transparency, maintaining quality, and timely completion of projects remain top priorities.

He added that improving urban amenities and encouraging positive engagement for youth were key objectives in line with the vision of the Government of Punjab.

The meeting was attended by Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Zoya Baloch,Executive Engineer Highways Malik Gulfam Awan,Deputy Director Development Mehtab Yaseen and other officials.
