DC resolves public complaints under open-door policy

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner(DC),Bahawalpur Syed Hassan Raza on Monday heard public complaints during an open session held at his office under the government’s open-door policy,issuing on the spot directives to relevant officials for their prompt resolution.

During the session,DC directed that no delay would be tolerated in addressing public grievances,adding that all complaints must be resolved on a priority basis.

He said that the district administration was taking all possible measures to provide relief to citizens,adding that the initiative was in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister(CM),Maryam Nawaz,who has directed that justice be delivered at the doorstep of the people.

Reaffirming his commitment to public service,Syed Hassan Raza said the open door policy was ensuring effective and transparent resolution of citizens’ issues.

Citizens present on the occasion expressed satisfaction over the prompt response to their complaints and appreciated the steps taken by the district administration for their resolution.
