DC reviews beautification work at Katchery Bazaar

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir visited Katchery Bazaar and reviewed the pace and quality of ongoing development and beautification works for improving commercial hubs of the city.

He inspected progress on the uplift and beautification project spanning Clock Tower Faisalabad and Katchery Bazaar.

Assistant Commissioner (AC) City Adil Umar, officials of NESPAK and other relevant departments were also present.

The DC checked quality of iron frames being installed along the green belt and directed the authorities to ensure the use of durable and high-grade materials.

He also conducted a detailed review of colorful tough tiles being laid in Katchery Bazaar and issued instructions to further improve uniformity and finishing.

Emphasizing quality and aesthetics, the DC directed that the beautification project should enhance overall appeal of the bazaar while maintaining high construction standards.

He ordered the departments concerned to accelerate pace of work and strictly adhere to the given deadline, making it clear that the project must be completed within April.

He warned that no negligence in ongoing development works would be tolerated and reiterated that provision of improved facilities to citizens remained the top priority of the district administration.

Officials from the concerned departments assured the deputy commissioner that the project would be completed within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining quality standards.
