DC sets deadline to upgrade facilities in govt schools till April 28:

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry, while presiding over a review meeting of the education department on Wednesday, directed officials to ensure the provision of all basic facilities in government schools across the district by April 28.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) Arshad Wattoo, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Education Sardar Akhtar Baloch, and other relevant officers.

During the session, the deputy commissioner reviewed the overall condition of public sector schools and issued clear instructions to improve infrastructure and hygiene standards. He emphasized that washrooms must be fully functional, hand-washing basins installed, and proper cleanliness maintained in all institutions.

He further directed that classroom furniture should be in good condition, while fans, windows, and other essential facilities must be fully operational and accessible to students.

Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry warned that any delay in meeting the April 28 deadline would not be tolerated, stressing that even minor deficiencies must be addressed immediately to ensure a conducive learning environment.

He reiterated that providing a clean, safe, and improved educational atmosphere remains the top priority of the district administration, adding that no negligence in this regard will be accepted.
