District Nerve Center to enhance service delivery in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) The district administration has accelerated efforts to establish a District Nerve Center under the provincial government’s Good Governance Roadmap and District Service Delivery agenda.

Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Sarmad Saleem Akram, chaired a review meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office to assess progress on the initiative. Officials briefed him on key developments regarding the setup of the center.

The proposed District Nerve Center aims to strengthen governance by improving service delivery mechanisms, ensuring better resource management, and enabling timely identification of public issues. Authorities believe the facility will significantly streamline the provision of services and enhance access to public facilities for residents.

The deputy commissioner directed relevant departments to expedite work and ensure effective coordination for the early establishment of the center.
