Dolphin Force arrests dozens of hardened criminals

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) Dolphin Force achieved significant success in curbing crime during the current year by arresting dozens of hardened criminals involved in serious offences in addition to conducting snap checking of more than 1.1 million citizens and extending assistance to hundreds through community policing initiatives in Faisalabad.

Police spokesman said here on Tuesday that Dolphin Force carried out extensive operations against criminals and succeeded in arresting 91 proclaimed offenders and 63 court absconders during the ongoing year.

He said that the force also intensified action against thieves and robbers, arresting 69 accused and recovering stolen valuables from their possession. Weapons, narcotics and looted property were also seized during various operations, he added.

He said that in a crackdown against illegal arms, the police arrested 74 accused and registered cases against them after recovering weapons.

Similarly, during operations against drug dealers, as many as 625 suspects were arrested and a large quantity of narcotics, including hashish, heroin, opium, ice and liquor, was recovered, he added.

He said that the force also took action against other violations, arresting 25 individuals for one-wheeling and 72 for kite flying.

Highlighting operational activities, he said that during snap checking, the Dolphin Force checked 1,133,474 citizens, 1,014,698 motorcycles and 230,970 vehicles to ensure security and prevent criminal activities.
