DPM/FM Dar, UK Foreign Secretary discuss prevailing regional situation

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday held a telephone conversation with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper and discussed the prevailing regional situation and the on ongoing efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability.

Foreign Secretary Cooper appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in encouraging peaceful engagement among the concerned parties.

DPM/FM reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to dialogue and diplomacy as the preferred path for addressing regional challenges, according to a statement issued by the foreign office spokesperson.
