E-library opened in D-Ground Park

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) Under the vision of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, steps are being taken to promote book friendship in the city’s parks.

Under the vision, a state-of-the-art public library was opened for the general public in D-ground park here on Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner Capt (Retd) Nadeem Nasir inaugurated the library in the park and inspected its various sections. Assistant Commissioner (city) Adil Umar and MD PHA Dilawar Khan were also present.

The DC announced the establishment of similar libraries in other parks of the city and said that the establishment of e-library in D-ground park will provide modern research facilities to citizens.

He said that the library equipped with digital and manual academic facilities, internet, I-Pad, computer and other research facilities is a valuable addition in the parks.

He said that the e-library will prove helpful in attracting youth towards positive activities.

Meanwhile, citizens and book lovers appreciated the establishment of the library and thanked the CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the facility.
