Eid-ul-Azha being celebrated with religious zeal in Balochistan

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Eid ul-Adha is also being celebrated with great religious fervor and devotion in Balochistan including provincial capital, Quetta.

Large Eid prayer gatherings were held in hundreds of mosques, Eid gahs and open spaces in the city, in which a large number of citizens offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers and prayed for the prosperity and development of the country.

In their sermons, scholars shed light on the philosophy of animals sacrifices.

On this occasion, the administration had made very strict and foolproof security arrangements to deal with any untoward incident.

Under this, police and FC personnel were deployed outside all sensitive and Eid gatherings in the city, while walk-through gates were installed at the entrances of main Eid gahs and mosques, and all worshippers were allowed to enter only after a comprehensive search and strict checking.
