Fake SHO arrested

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) The Sargodha City Police have arrested a man impersonating a station house officer (SHO) within their jurisdiction.

According to a police spokesperson, the arrest was made during routine vehicle checking.

Police officials signaled a suspicious vehicle to stop and, upon inspection, apprehended a man who claimed to be an SHO of a police station.

During initial questioning, the suspect failed to provide valid credentials, raising further suspicion. Upon verification, it was confirmed that the individual was impersonating a police officer.

The accused was identified as Hassan. Police have taken him into custody and initiated further investigation to determine his motives and any possible accomplices.
