Five properties sealed for illegal commercialisation

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) A crackdown on illegal commercialisation of properties in residential colonies under the control of Faisalabad Development Authority is underway.

In this regard, an enforcement team of the authority sealed five plots in Gulberg Colony for using residential properties for business activities without approval and the owners have been instructed to immediately get approval to use their properties for business purposes, otherwise they would have to face legal action.

According to a spokesperson here Wednesday, an enforcement team supervised by the Director Town Planning-I Afnan Saeed Sandhu is actively working against illegal commercialization and has sealed five residential plots in Gulberg colony, including plot numbers 302A, 72-Bi, 132C, 12-Aii and 75-Bii, for non-compliance despite repeated notices. The FDA administration has warned that residential properties should not be converted into commercial properties without approval.
