LARKANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) In Larkana, armed individuals opened fire over an alleged old enmity, killing four members of the same family. Two people, including a minor girl, were injured and shifted to the Truma Center Larkana hospital . According to police, within the jurisdiction of Mahota Police Station near Larkana, in Sindh Green Colony, armed men broke into a house over an ongoing old feud between two groups of the Mugheri tribe and indiscriminately fired upon family members who were asleep in night time.
As a result, a 55-year-old woman, Zarina Khatoon Mugheri her 36-year-old son, Zameer; 28-year-old Roshan and Saima Mugheri died on the spot.
Meanwhile, Bundah Ali and a three-year-old minor girl, Kajli Mugheri, were seriously injured. Upon the police arrived, collected details about the incident, and shifted the bodies and the injured to a trauma center hospital Larkana. The heirs of the deceased stated that late last night, over an old enmity, influential Ghulam Nabi Mugheri, along with his armed accomplices, attacked their house, killed four of their family members, injured two including a minor girl, and fled.

They appealed to the Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana range Nasir Aftab (DIG) of Larkana, the Senior Superintendent of Police Larkana (SSP) , and other higher authorities to take notice, arrest the accused involved in the incident, and provide justice.
Meanwhile, when APP contacted, the Mahota Police stated that the incident occurred over an old enmity, and the bodies and injured have been transferred to the hospital while raids are being conducted to arrest the accused. On the other hand, it is being reported that two years ago, Asghar Ali Mugheri of the same tribe caste was killed, a case for which was registered against the deceased’s party. Since then, tensions have persisted between the two groups, resulting in this incident late last night.
