Gilani mourns passing of Zulfiqar Ali Khosa

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has expressed deep sorrow over the death of former Punjab governor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa.

In his condolence message, Gilani paid tribute to the late leader, calling him an experienced politician, a visionary statesman, and a committed public servant who dedicated his life to serving the nation.

He said Khosa’s political and social contributions were valuable and would always be remembered.

He added that the late leader belonged to Dera Ghazi Khan and represented the people of the area with honesty and dedication, working to solve their problems.

Gilani said Khosa’s leadership and people-focused approach would continue to inspire others.

He termed his death a major loss to national politics and said his services would always be respected.

He also prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and extended sympathies to the bereaved family, asking Allah to grant them patience and strength in this difficult time.
