Islamabad United have so far played four matches, winning two, while one game against Peshawar Zalmi was abandoned due to rain

RAWALPINDI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-April 9th, 2026) Pakistan Super League Season 11 match 16 witnessed Islamabad United winning the toss and opting to bowl first against Lahore Qalandars.

Islamabad United have so far played four matches, winning two, while one game against Peshawar Zalmi was abandoned due to rain. The side also suffered a five-wicket defeat at the hands of Multan Sultans and currently stands third on the points table with five points.

Lahore Qalandars, meanwhile, have secured two wins in three matches, with their only loss coming against Karachi Kings by four wickets.

At the toss, Islamabad captain Shadab Khan confirmed that the team is unchanged. Lahore skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi announced one change in the playing XI.

Zimbabwean all-rounder Ryan Burl is making his debut for Lahore Qalandars, receiving his cap from Sikandar Raza. He has replaced Parvez Hossain, who is recovering from a muscle injury.

In the second match of the day, Karachi Kings will take on Peshawar Zalmi at 7:00 pm.
