HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has claimed that with a 12.66 percent increase in recovery of electricity bills and a meagre 3.7 percent reduction in the line losses, the company reported 94 percent recovery in March.
The company's spokesman Sadiq Kubar informed here on Friday that HESCO's Chief Executive Officer Faizullah Dahiri was briefed about such performance at a review meeting.
According to him, the CEO emphasized that zero tolerance would be shown against officials found in negligence of effective monitoring and vigilance in the 11 KV feeders which had been declared exempt from load shedding.
He said Dahiri warned of strict action against the officials found conniving with power thieves.
The CEO appreciated Executive Engineer Kotri Subdivision Ikhtiar Ahmed Memon, XEn Latifabad Sajjad Parvez and Sub Divisional Officer Hali Road Sajjad Rind for their excelling performance.
He directed the XEns and SDOs of other sub divisions to further improve their performance.
