ICT Police bid farewell to Constable Irfan Arshad with full honours

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jun, 2026) Funeral prayers for Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Constable Irfan Arshad were offered at Police Lines Headquarters, Islamabad, with senior police officers and personnel attending to pay their respects.

An official told APP on Sunday that Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, along with a large number of officers and officials of Islamabad Police, attended the funeral prayer.

Special prayers were offered for the departed soul, seeking eternal peace and higher ranks for the deceased.

IGP Rizvi expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and paid tribute to the late constable's services rendered for the police force.

The IGP Rizvi assured the family that Islamabad Police would stand by them in this difficult time and extend all possible support and assistance.

Islamabad Police remained committed to the welfare of its personnel and their families and would continue to support the family of the deceased constable.
