ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have arrested three members of an organized motorcycle theft gang and recovered six stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees during a successful operation by the Anti Motorcycle Lifting Unit.
An official told APP on Saturday that the Anti Motorcycle Lifting Unit conducted an intelligence-based operation and apprehended three suspects involved in motorcycle theft incidents in different parts of the Federal capital.
The official said the arrested suspects were identified as Salamat Ali, Bilal Ahmed and Afrad Shah.
According to the official, police recovered six stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees from the possession of the accused, while further investigation was underway to trace additional theft cases and recover more stolen property.

He said Islamabad Police would continue indiscriminate action against criminals depriving citizens of their valuable property.
The SSP added that large-scale operations against organized and active motorcycle theft gangs were continuing to curb vehicle theft and strengthen public safety in the federal capital.
