One-week international lecture series successfully concluded at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) here Friday, under the Erasmus+ Programme collaboration with the University of Lodz Poland

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) One-week international lecture series successfully concluded at the Federal urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) here Friday, under the Erasmus+ Programme collaboration with the University of Lodz Poland.

The lectures were delivered by Dr. Maria Eleonora Hebisz, who shared her academic experience and international insights with students. The series continued for one week and was attended by a large number of students from the Departments of Mass Communication, Department of IR, and other faculties.

The sessions covered important and relevant topics such as street art, media and technology, digital media and the evolving role of media in Europe and Latin America. The speakers also discussed key issues including art and politics, identity in the digital age, and the influence of power and technology in shaping contemporary societies.

Students remained actively engaged throughout the sessions. They participated in discussions, asked thoughtful questions, and appreciated the simple and clear delivery of the lectures. Many students expressed that such international academic activities should be arranged regularly, as they help in understanding global perspectives in an easy and practical way.

The program was supervised by Dr. Faisal Javaid, Head of Department. The Mass Communication sessions were moderated and managed by Assistant Professor Dr. Sikander Zarren.

At the closing of the series, both faculty members and students described the lectures as informative and beneficial. They emphasized that such initiatives enhance academic learning and provide valuable exposure to international knowledge and ideas.
