M12 Motorway project, another milestone in connectivity

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) With the support of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the M12 Motorway Project ( Sambrial to Kharian ) has been launched that would become another milestone in connectivity, in the country.

The SIFC, in a statement on Thursday, said that it was is playing a key role in the development of Pakistan's communication sector.

The M12 project has been launched in collaboration with SIFC, Public-Private Partnership Authority (PPPA) and National Highway Authority.

The M12 Motorway Project will effectively and directly connect Sambrial, the terminus of the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway, to Kharian.

This 6-lane motorway will strengthen regional connectivity and make travel faster, safer and easier.

This project will play a significant role in promoting regional trade and industrial activities, further expanding national connectivity by becoming an important part of the M12 Motorway, North-South Motorway Network.

The SIFC facilitation is promoting modern infrastructure and connectivity across the country.
