Man sentenced to death

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) Additional Sessions Court awarded death sentence to a man involved in a murder case

of Balochni police station.

A police spokesman said on Saturday that Additional Sessions Judge Saqib Farooq Awan announced

the verdict after the prosecution proved the charges against the accused, Mujeeb, during trial proceedings.

The court awarded death sentence to the accused and imposed a fine of Rs1 million.

The convict had shot dead Rafiq during a quarrel two years ago, police spokesman added.
