Markets inspected at Lower Dir

LOWER DIR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Lower Dir, Muhammad Arif Khan, Additional Assistant Commissioner Timergara, Saeed Ullah here Wednesday inspected various markets to check quality of food items and ensure implementation of government directives.

During the visit, team of district administration checked fuel measurement, pricing, availability of washrooms and fire extinguishing equipment in pump stations at Timergara.

Tea stalls and kebab hotels in Timergara were inspected for cleanliness standards and prices and weight of kebabs were also checked to ensure compliance with official regulations.

Officials reviewed the prices of fruits and vegetables to ensure they were being sold according to government approved price list.

Team also checked prices of chicken, bread and edible items in Munda Bazar. The administration reaffirmed its commitment to protect consumer rights and strict action against profiteering and hoarding.
