Marriage hall sealed in Kharian

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) Acting on the directives of Assistant Commissioner Kharian Ahmed Sher Gondal, the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) Kharian sealed Qasr-e-Sultan Marquee in the Bhadar area for violating government-mandated operating hours.

Officials said the action was taken after the marriage hall failed to comply with prescribed timings. The establishment was sealed on the spot for breaching regulations.

The assistant commissioner said action against violators would continue without discrimination, adding that adherence to notified timings would be strictly enforced across the tehsil.
