Mayor visits flyover project in Hala Naka

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) The Mayor Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Kashif Ali Shoro inspected the resumed works at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Flyover in Hala Naka area here on Thursday.

During the visit he directed the concerned government officers and the contractor to complete the more than a decade long delayed project as per the new completion time frame while ensuring no compromise in construction materials' quality and the engineering works.

The mayor noted that a sum of Rs 455 million had been earmarked for the flyover which would ease the flow of traffic from New Sabzi Mandi road to the link road connecting the locality to Hyderabad Bypass.

According to him, the legal matter and the encroachment which delayed execution of the project for more than 10 years had been sorted out.

After its completion, the flyover would also become linked to the Autobahn to Hala Naka road project which was being executed at the cost of Rs 3.2 billion.
