Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Umar Awais Kayani visited Chatta Morr, Bansra Gali, Barian and other affected areas to review the situation and assess damages.
During the visit, he inspected roads, residential areas and drainage systems, noting issues including damaged roads, blocked drainage and potential landslide risks.
He met local residents, listened to their concerns and gathered details about losses, as citizens urged immediate relief and rehabilitation measures.
The officer directed relevant departments to conduct a transparent and comprehensive damage assessment and submit reports without delay to ensure effective relief planning.
He also instructed authorities to prioritize road restoration, debris removal and improvement of drainage systems to ease public difficulties.
Officials said the administration is utilizing all available resources to expedite relief and rehabilitation work, adding that no negligence or delay will be tolerated.
Monitoring has been further tightened to ensure quality and pace of ongoing work, while residents expressed hope for both immediate relief and long-term infrastructure restoration.
