Muzammil Aslam urges fast-track completion of Thandiani tourism infrastructure projects

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Finance, Muzammil Aslam, visited the scenic tourist destination of Thandiani on Monday, where he reviewed ongoing development projects including the Thandiani Road project and the Integrated Tourism Zone (ITZ).

During the visit, officials from the Galiyat Development Authority (GDA), Communication and Works Department, and KITE briefed the advisor on the progress of ongoing development works. Muzammil Aslam also conducted a detailed field inspection to assess on-ground progress.

Speaking on the occasion, Muzammil Aslam directed the concerned departments to ensure timely completion of all projects while strictly maintaining international standards of construction quality.

He said that the development of tourist destinations like Thandiani is a key priority of the provincial government, as it will help promote tourism and strengthen the local economy.

He further added that the completion of the Integrated Tourism Zone and road infrastructure projects will significantly boost tourism activity in the Galiyat region and create new employment opportunities for local communities.
