ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) Proceedings of the National Assembly were briefly suspended on Thursday after a lawmaker pointed out a lack of quorum shortly after the session began.
Muhammad Iqbal Khan Afridi drew the Deputy Speaker’s attention to the quorum issue, prompting Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah to order a headcount in the House.

Proceedings resumed after a break of around 25 minutes once the quorum was completed.
