- NAPA delegation meets Sindh Culture Minister to boost performing arts collaboration

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) A delegation of the National academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) paid a visit to Sindh Minister for Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, and Archives Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and discussed issues related to promotion of performing arts in the province as well as mutual collaboration for events and other programmes.
The delegation included Chairman NAPA Syed Jawaid Iqbal, NAPA board of Directors member Senator (retd) Javed Jabbar, and NAPA CEO Jarri Masood. The minister was briefed about the current and future programmes of NAPA.
Syed Zulfiqar Shah told the delegation that he was keen on promoting performing arts in Sindh, and sought NAPA’s support in this cause.
NAPA Chairman assured him that the Academy would go all out to extend its helping hand towards ensuring that arts and culture remain a pillar of strength for our society.
The minister urged the need to bring forward the young talent in performing arts. He was briefed by the NAPA delegation about the future projects of the Academy. The minister assured the delegation of his wholehearted help in such projects.
