OSR funded projects vital for improving local infrastructure: Commissioner

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Thursday said that the projects financed through Own Source Revenue (OSR) funds play a vital role in improving local infrastructure and providing better public services

He said this while presiding over a meeting of Deputy Commissioners from across the division to review the progress of development schemes being executed through OSR funds.

During the meeting, a district-wise assessment of ongoing and proposed development projects was conducted.

The commissioner directed all DCs to ensure the timely completion of development schemes, effective utilization of available resources, and strict adherence to quality standards.

He stressed that these initiatives are essential for enhancing the quality of life of citizens and promoting sustainable development across the division.

The meeting also discussed measures to increase revenue generation, accelerate the pace of development projects, and ensure the effective implementation of public welfare initiatives.

The commissioner instructed officials to maintain continuous monitoring of all schemes and immediately address any obstacles hindering their completion.

He stressed that development projects should be completed within stipulated timelines so that the public can benefit from their outcomes without delay.
