ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) PML-N Senator Afnan Ullah Khan Friday described Pakistan’s unprecedented diplomatic efforts as a historic victory that brought nations together, crediting the leadership of country and emphasizing that this achievement will produce enduring positive outcomes in terms of passport respect and national honor on the international stage.
In an exclusive conversation with a local media outlet, he stated that Pakistan’s leadership including Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is being widely praised by nations around the world.
He described it as a moment of immense national pride, reflecting Pakistan’s rising global recognition, enhanced diplomatic stature and growing respect for its passport.
He said Pakistan is steadily positioning itself as a key player at the global negotiation table, hosting what he termed a “historic moment” of diplomacy.
He added that ongoing discussions and emerging trade and strategic agreements will further strengthen the national economy, empower the local Currency, and produce long-term diplomatic and economic gains for the country.
While responding to questions, he emphasized that Ishaq Dar and Shehbaz Sharif are trusted and strong pillars of Mian Nawaz Sharif’s leadership and said that credit for these diplomatic successes also goes to the PML-N party.
He added that this achievement is not isolated but part of a broader legacy of national progress under PML-N leadership.
He further recalled that Pakistan has always played a significant role on the global stage, from becoming a nuclear power through landmark atomic tests to launching mega projects like CPEC.
