WASHINGTON, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 03rd Apr, 2026) The US Department of Defensce (Pentagon) announced today the resignation of US Army Chief of Staff Randy George, effective immediately.
A US official was quoted saying that Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth requested George’s immediate resignation.
This move is part of a series of broad decisions to restructure the leadership of the US military since Hegseth took office last year.
