Project starts to improve gas pressure in town

HAZRO, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) The Work has begun on a six-inch pipeline project aimed at improving Sui gas pressure in the town.

The residents have long faced severe difficulties due to low gas pressure, particularly during winter when supply would drop to almost negligible levels, forcing many to purchase gas cylinders from the market.

The local leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) raised the issue with Member of the National Assembly Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, who subsequently secured a substantial government's grant for the project.

According to details, the pipeline will run from Tarbela Chowk to Hazro Fawara Chowk, and is expected to significantly improve gas pressure across the city.

Speaking to the media, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed said that whenever the PML-N government had come into power, it had worked to resolve public issues.
