Rawalpindi declares local holiday on April 9–10, schools to remain closed

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) The District Administration, Rawalpindi, has declared a local holiday on April 9 and 10 on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, Dr Hassan Waar Cheema.

According to a notification, all public and private educational institutions in the territorial jurisdiction of Rawalpindi District will remain closed for the two days. However, all emergency dealing departments would remain operational.
