Rescue 1122 holds preparedness meeting ahead of monsoon rains

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) In view of the ongoing monsoon spell, District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122, Muhammad Arif Khan, convened an important meeting of all section heads to review preparedness and ensure effective emergency response across the district.

The meeting was held on the directives of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shah Fahad, and Director Operations South, Muhammad Arif Khattak. It was attended by station in-charges, the control room in-charge, Motor Transport Officer (MTO), and other relevant officials.

Addressing the participants, the District Emergency Officer directed all in-charges to keep their teams on high alert and remain fully prepared to respond to any emergency during the monsoon season.

He emphasized that rescue vehicles, machinery, and essential equipment must be kept in fully operational condition at all times to ensure prompt response in case of any untoward incident.

He further stressed the need for continuous monitoring of low-lying areas, taking precautionary measures in view of potential flood situations, and raising public awareness about safety precautions during heavy rains.

Concluding the meeting, Muhammad Arif Khan instructed all officers and personnel to perform their duties with professionalism and ensure timely and effective action in any emergency situation.
