S.E.College marks Marka-e-Haq with national fervour

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) A ceremony marking Marka-e-Haq was organized at Government S.E. College Bahawalpur on Saturday with national enthusiasm.

The event was presided over by Principal Dr.Rana Muhammad Arshad while Vice Principal Diwan Muhammad Asif Shehzad attended as chief guest.

Addressing the ceremony,Dr.Rana Muhammad Arshad said that Marka-e-Haq was a significant chapter in national history that embodied lessons of unity,sacrifice and patriotism.

He stressed the need to educate the younger generation on national values so they could play a constructive role in the country’s development.

Diwan Muhammad Asif Shehzad paid tribute to the armed forces,stating that they had rendered immense sacrifices in the defence of the country during every difficult time.

He urged students to promote national unity and patriotism alongside their academic pursuits.

Professors Bilqees Akram and Khalid Mahmood also addressed the gathering,highlighting the importance of national cohesion and civic responsibility among students.
