ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Wednesday expressed optimism about the positive outcomes of the upcoming Federal budget, saying it would address the needs of all provinces and provide maximum possible relief to the people.

Talking to media, he said the budget had been prepared after extensive consultations with provincial governments.

He noted that all recommendations put forward by the chief ministers had been accepted and incorporated into the budget, reflecting the federal government's commitment to inclusive decision-making.

Responding to a question regarding the ongoing protests in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), he said major demands seeking immediate public relief had already been resolved.

He said that constitutional demands should be raised through elected forums rather than street protests, urging the groups to form political parties, contest elections and include their demands in their manifestos to seek public support.

He urged protesters to avoid violence, coercion and confrontational methods, saying such approaches were inconsistent with democratic norms and constitutional principles.

The minister called on all stakeholders to adopt legal and constitutional channels for resolving disputes, emphasizing that democratic engagement remained the most effective path to achieve lasting solutions.
