SSP Operations holds Open Court to address public grievances

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Malik Tariq Mehmood held an open court (khuli kachehri) at the Police Lines Headquarters, where he listened to citizens’ complaints and issued directives to concerned officers for their prompt resolution.

He directed that legal action on marked applications be ensured within the given timeframe, warning that no negligence would be tolerated in resolving public grievances.

He further emphasized that service delivery at police stations must be ensured at all times.

In line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, protection of life and property and facilitation of citizens remain top priorities, he added.

Likewise, in a separate operation, Cantt Police have arrested a suspect and recovered the stolen vehicle from his possession.

Similarly, RA Bazaar Police apprehended an individual involved in motorcycle and other theft cases, recovering a stolen motorcycle and Rs2,000 in cash.

SP Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan stated that the accused would be presented in court with solid evidence, adding that those depriving citizens of valuable assets cannot escape the law.
