Three children among five suffer burns

Five persons including a woman and children suffered burns when fire broke out in a shop in Kookianwala area on Friday

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) Five persons including a woman and children suffered burns when fire broke out in a shop in Kookianwala area on Friday.

According to Rescue-1122, the fire broke out due to leakage of petrol near a burning stove in the shop.

As a result, five people including Khadija (13), Yashfa (8), Shahid (36), Amna (40) and Atta-ur-Rehman (5) suffered burns.

A rescue team reached the site and shifted the injured to the burn unit of Allied Hospital.
